I like it. Its like looking at a real aquarium with artificial lights.
Im surprised other reviews are so negative. I think its decent for a free app. Essentially, its a looped video capture of a fish tank. The video is standard definition and reasonably clear, complete with bubble sound effects. The tank that they recorded is using artificial lighting, hence the review about the strange colors. In my opinion, the lighting is appropriate for an "aquarium" in a computer. The length of the video is long enough not to draw too much attention to the video looping. The CPU usage is very moderate, averaging about 8% on my year-old Macbook Pro. The only features to speak of are allowing full screen and controlling the volume of the bubbles. I think thats just fine for free.
I did find a bug thats unfortunate for dual monitor setups. When you set the fish tank to full screen, the mouse pointer is not visible on your other monitor.
If youve ever had an aquarium, I think youll appreciate this simple app. Try it out.
